Supreme court does not usually interfere with the functioning of the Union or State. This is guaranteed by the principle of Separation of Powers. However, the court has the right to Judicial review which is used to control the legislative powers of the Government. Judicial review is the judiciary reviews the actions of legislative and executive .The courts with judicial review power annul the acts of the state when it finds them incompatible with the terms of a written constitution
