How do the individuals give approval to the government?

India is a democratic country and Indian citizens have the right to choose their representatives who work for the betterment of the country. Most of the decision related to the growth and welfare of the country as well as the citizens are taken in the Parliament.
We elect our representatives by giving those votes, and then a group of these elected representatives form government and guides and controls the nation. In this sense people, through their chosen representatives, give approval to the government.
