Solution

  • A bill becomes law in state legislative assembly when it is passed with simple majority.
  • The Vidhan Parishad can make amends in the bills passed by the Vidhan Sabha. However, if the Vidhan Sabha does not agree to those amendments, it has the right to pass it the second time, wherein it is deemed to have been passed by both Houses and is presented to the Governor for assent.
