Question

How does a bone cell become hard? Would an RBC also become as hard as a bone cell?

Open in App
Solution

Bone cells become hard as they deposit a variety of minerals like calcium, magnesium and phosphorous along with collagen fibres. These minerals make the bone tissue hard and compact. No, RBC's don't get hard as bone cells, they are very soft and flexible as they have to travel in thin blood vessels.
