A centrifugal governor uses the principle of proportional control.It controls the speed of an engine by regulating the amount of fuel admitted and maintains a near constant speed, irrespective of the load or fuel-supply conditions.

2-

Centrifugal pumps use the rotation of impeller to increase the pressure inside pump, and thereby increasing the flow rate.

There are various uses of centrifugal pumps however, these pumps are most often used in buildings for the following purposes:

1-To pump the general water supply.
2-To provide sump drainage.
2-To pump the domestic water supply
4-To support the fire protection systems
