how does atmospheric pressure influence weather
The decrease in air pressure allows the air to rise while the increase in air pressure forces the air to sink. As the air rises it loses its ability to absorb water vapour. When the water the water vapor is released in the air, it condenses to form clouds. As for high pressure, the air is pushed downwards and hence absorbs more water vapor, thus there is the sunny weather.Air also moves from high pressure to low pressure which causes wind, and if the areas of high and low pressure are close there will be strong, gusty winds.
