Open in App
Solution

Chlorophyll is a photoreceptor which absorb light energy from sunlight and transfer it to other molecules present in the reaction centre of photosynthetic apparatus. This energy is utilised by plants to synthesise carbohydrates using CO2ā€‹. So, it act as catalyst in the light reaction of photosynthesis as it is not used up in the reaction.
