how does cyclonic , convectional and orographic rains occur .
Cyclonic rainfall occurs when two cyclonic masses meet and form a front. The two masses of air of different temperature meet and increase the humidity paving the way for rain.
Convectional rain occurs when the heat causes the warm air to rise. As the air rises it tends to cool down and form water vapors which form clouds and rain.
Orographic or relief rainfall is caused when masses of air pushed by wind are forced up the side of elevated land formations, such as large mountains.
