Question

how does distribution of atmospheric pressure belts over the world influence the pattern of prevailing winds

Open in App
Solution

Wind is the movement of the air across Earth's surface and is determined by the differences in the air pressure between one place to another. Since the differences in the air pressure is caused by unequal heating of the earth's surface they determine the varying patterns of the wind and causes wind to blow from high pressure to low pressure.
