Open in App
Solution

India is a land of diversity so social violence in the name of caste or religion do occur from time to time.In order to prevent social violence certain provisions have been made in the Indian Constitution such as Article 15 of the Indian Constitution prohibits discrimination based on caste.Similarly, Article 17 of the Indian Constitution has declared the practise of untouchability as illegal.

Moreover, Indian Constitution has declared India a secular state where all religions are given equal status. No religious dominance prevails which prevents the occurrence of social violence like communal riots.
