Open in App
Solution

Snow blindness can be caused because of the reflection of UV light in snow on a bright sunny day if any eye protection is not used. This can lead to temporary blindness and much pain. In snow blindness surface of cornea gets burned.

Cataracts can occur if the lens of the eye is damaged by exposure to UV rays and this increases the chances of developing cataract.
