It is the forebrain that receive information from various sensory receptors present in sense organs.
Special areas are present within the forebrain that are associated with different senses like hearing, smell, sight , touch and taste etc
Different senses are controlled by different areas or lobes of the brain called projection areas. Various information are interpreted in their respective areas in the brain. These areas interpret information by putting this information together with information from other receptors and previous stored information. On the basis of all these brain then take decision, a response is made which travel to the motor areas, again in the form of nerve impulse to respond to the stimulus recieved by our sense organs.
