The Constitution of India had embodied the principle of secularism and ensured its citizens
1. Non discrimination on the grounds of religion. All religious communities have equal access to public places.
2. All citizens are free to follow any religion of their choice.
3. No person ca be forced to pay any tax for the promotion of religion.
4, No religious instruction can be given in any educational institution maintained out of state funds.
5. No citizen can be denied admission to any educational institution run by the state on religious grounds.
6. Any religious community in India is free to establish its own educational institution.
