Solution

An aquarium ecosystem is a balanced artificial ecosystem where both the living and non-living components of of the aquarium are made to interact with one another artificially. The aquarium ecosystem works with human interference, it cannot work on its own as there are no sources of food inside the aquarium. The fish tank is provided with various components like aquatic plants, sand, rocks so that the fish get comfortable in an artificial environment. Also, it has to be cleaned regularly as it don't have self cleaning capacity. Food is to be provided at regular intervals.
