After the pollen grain reach stigma it geminate and produce pollen tube carrying two male gametes. When pollen tube reach embryo sac inside the ovary it release both male gametes. One of the male gamete fuse with the ovum (syngamy) to form embryo and other fuse with the polar nuclie to form endosperm. This process is known as double fertilisation.
