How does blood form in our body and where ?

Open in App
Solution

Blood and its components are formed by the process of Haematopoiesis from haematopoietic stem cells. These cells are located in the bone marrow(central part of bones) of long bones four body. Haematopoietic stem cells have the ability to give rise different blood cell types and tissues. They are self renewing so they do not deplete. Some of the HSCs become differentiated to one or more specific types of blood cells but loose the ability to renew themselves. so, they keep on forming be the new haematopoietic stem cells.
