How does water maintains a constant body temperature?
Water is an important constituent in thermoregulation, because it is a major component of blood volume. It is mainly lost through sweat, respiration, and waste. The blood (Water) distributes heat through out the body. Blood (water)circulates in the body through blood vessels. During cold weather the blood vessels of the skin contract so that less blood flows through them and less heat is lost while in summers opposite happens, blood vessels expand to allow loss of heat and hence maintain the body temperature.
