Question

How growing of different crops in an alternate method helps preventing pests and diseases from spreading to all plants?

Solution

Intercropping means planting different plants in different rows. Same plants are spaced from each other. Hence pest in one row cannot easily spread to the next as the rows for similar plants are separated. There would be a lack of carrier for the causal organisms.
