Electroplating is used in decorations and the most extravagant usage has been the gold plated dome of Cathedral of Christ Saviour in Moscow. Electroplating is used for bathroom fixtures, car parts, kitchen gas burners , the rims of wheels to name a few. It is also used for electroplating as layers of electroplating can be done and by using different metals. These are used as they give a smoother finish with shine and can be done in different colours depending upon the metals being used.
