  1. Tertiary activity is different from other two activities as the other two sectors manufacture goods but this sector does not produce goods on its own.
  2. However the tertiary sector enables the growth of the other two sectors.
  3. The tertiary activities provide assistance for the process of production. E.g. banking, transport, insurance, etc.
  4. Hence this sector is also called service sector.
