1) Atomic wt. of chlorine is 35g.(atomic wt. of an element is equal to wt. of 1 mole of atom of that element)

So 35 gram of Chlorine contain 1 mole chlorine atom.

2) 1 mole = 6.023 x 1023 atoms

35gram = 6.023 x 1023 atoms

∴1 gram of chlorine will contain = 6.023 x 1023 atoms / 35gram = 0.172 x 1023 atoms = 1.72 x 1022 atoms/gram
