Solution
The male gametes or sperm cells are formed inside pollens before fertilization. When a pollen containing sperm cells falls on a pistil of flower it germinates and forms a pollen tube. Through this pollen tube the male gametes or sperm cells travel inside the pistil of flower and reach the ovule where fertilization takes place. Two male gametes are present inside a pollen grain.
