Question

how much work is done in moving charge of 2 coulombs from a point at 118 volts to a point at 128 volts

Open in App
Solution

work done(W) in moving a point charge from one point to another is given by : Q X dv

where Q = point charge magnitude = 2 coulomb
dv = change in potential or may can say potential difference
here dv =( 128 -118) volt
= 10 volt
now apply all above data in formula.

W = 2 x 10
=20 joule.
