How sound is produced by Congo drums?
When we hit the drums it vibrates in a frequency range, which pushes the air molecule and makes air molecules collide with each other and this collision produces vibrations in the whole medium too. The vibrations in the medium spread out through it, and when reaches our ear, it is sensed by the ear drum. The sensed vibrations are converted to electrical signals by the cochlear nerve and passed to the brain. The brain interprets these electrical signals as sound.
