how the concentration of carbon di oxide and oxygen in the environment and lungs influence respiration?
If too much carbon dioxide is present in the environment and that is inhaled from the atmosphere then high concentration of carbon dioxide would build up in the blood and this can lead to respiratory failure. High oxygen concentration in the blood can cause cell death. If air with low oxygen content is inhaled then respiration would be negatively affected and can lead to headaches, shortness of breath nausea.
