Cancer in our body occurs due to change in the genetic make up of cell (DNA). This change is called as mutation. Mutation converts the normal cells into cancerous cells which divide uncontrollably and do not die.

The consumption of alcohol, cigarette and tobacco causes increase in the rate of mutations and hence they cause cancer. Therefore these things should be avoided and never consumed. They are very harmful for our health.
