Solution

Tibia and fibula are bones of lower leg. Tibia also known as shine bone is a long bone of lower leg which bears much of the body weight.
Fibula, also known as calf bone is slender bone present on the lateral side of tibia. It is thin and does not bear the weight of the body.
Fibula is smaller than tibia and is present lateral to it. This is how we can distinguish tibia from fibula.
