Starch in water:

Dissolve a 1-2 grams of starch in 50 ml distilled water. Add this paste to 150 ml of boiling water with constant stirring. Boil the solution for a few minutes and filter it once it cools down to room temperature. The filtrate obtained is a colloidal solution of starch in water.

Egg albumin in water:

Break the egg and separate the egg yolk from egg albumin which is the white part of the egg. Add the egg albumin to boiling 200 ml of water will constant stirring. Filter the solution once it cools down to room temperature. The filtrate obtained is a colloidal solution of egg albumin in water.
