we write our numerator and denominator in factors of their prime number and then cancel out the common one , the remaining fraction is in simplest form , As :

$$\begin{gathered} 1)\frac{12}{36}=\frac{2\times 2\times 3}{2\times 2\times 3\times 3}=\frac{\mathbf{1}}{\mathbf{3}} \\ 2)\frac{25}{35}=\frac{5\times 5}{5\times 7}=\frac{\mathbf{5}}{\mathbf{7}} \\ Or \\ 3)\frac{48}{60}=\frac{2\times 2\times 2\times 2\times 3}{2\times 2\times 3\times 5}=\frac{2\times 2}{5}=\frac{\mathbf{4}}{\mathbf{5}} \end{gathered}$$
