Question

How virus enter in our cell? virus are prokoritic or eucarotic cell?

Open in App
Solution

A virus enters the host cell by first attaching itself to the host cell membrane by a receptor. It then either dissolves the cell membrane to gain entry into the cell or injects its genetic material into the cell depending on the type of virus. Once the genetic material of the virus conjugates with the host genome multiplication starts and virus genome replicates.

Virus is not even considered a cell, hence it can neither be classified as eukaryotic or prokaryotic.
