To know the type of mirror perform this experiment.
Start walking towards the mirror from the distance and observe the nature of image formed. If the image size remains unchanged then it is a plane mirror. If the image size decreases as you move closer then it’s a convex mirror. If the image size increases as you reach close to the mirror then it’s a concave mirror.
