Solution

Proton is the name given to chemical species when Hydrogen loses its one of the electron. As we know that Hydrogen has atomic number 1 and it carry 1 proton (+ charge) and 1 electron (-charge) to make the atom neutral. If some how one electron is removed from H atom it will left with +ve charged proton only. That is why we can say that proton is positively charge.
