Open in App
Solution

Dear student!

The formation of hydrogen is always a chemical change as it follows all the rules for a chemical change to occur.

=> It involves formation of a new compound (H2O)by reaction of two different matters H2 and O2 .

=> The reactants are in gaseous phase and product water is a liquid and the product has different property from the reactants.

=> The water is separated into hydrogen and oxygen gas only by electrolytic processes and not by any physical process.
