how would you differentiate between street traders and street shops?

Solution

Street traders are small retailers who generally sell low-priced consumer items such as stationary items, eatables, newspapers and magazines. Such traders are most commonly found in crowded places like railway stations and bus stands. On the other hand, street shops or street stalls operate at street crossings or on road sides where the flow of traffic is high. They mostly deal in goods such as clothes, shoes, grocery items and bakery items.
