Let it deviates by small angle $\theta$.

therefore
$$\begin{gathered} \tan \theta =\frac{displacement}{AB} \\ Ab=1km \\ forsmallangle\tan \theta \approx \theta \\ \theta \approx displacement \end{gathered}$$

So, displacement will be equal to the amount of angle by which it is deviated.
