if hemodialysis is an expensive and painful process why dont people with kidney failure go for kidney tranaplant?

Kidney transplant is not easy as to find a kidney donor is tough task. It is necessary to match the kidney of a donor with the kidney of patient. On the other hand hemodialysis is easily available in hospitals and also can be done at home. So hemodialysis is used as a substitute of kidney in filtration of blood to remove impurities and toxins.
