Given equation is:
x - 5y + 6 = 0 ... (1)
On putting the corresponding value of x and y in (1), we get
k²- 5k + 6 = 0
â‡’ k²- 3k - 2k + 6 = 0
â‡’ k(k - 3) -2(k - 3) = 0
â‡’ (k - 2) (k - 3) = 0
â‡’ k = 2 or 3
