if north pole of a magnet attracts south pole then why don't north pole breaks and sticks to south pole?

Open in App
Solution

If a north pole of a magnet is put near a south pole, the magnets will attract each other until they stick to each other and can be hard to pull apart but it is not easy to break. If we break a magnet in two then both the magnets have their north and south poles.
