Question
if potential energy of a body increases by 50% . what will be the % increase in ke of the body
Open in App
Solution
We know by conservation of mechanical energy that,
M.E = K.E + P.E
M.E is mechanincal energy
K.E. is kinetic energy
P.E. is potential energy
so d(M.E) = d(K.E) + d(P.E)
0= d(K.E) + d(P.E)
d(KE)= -50
it gets decreased by 50 %
