Solution

Gall bladder performs the function of storing and concentrating bile which is secreted by liver. Bile is required for the digestion of fats. Gall bladder is an important organ but it is not necessary for survival of the individual. People can survive normally even in the absence of gall bladder but they are advised to avoid heavy food items with high fat content and take small means every few hours rather than having three large meals. Removal of gall bladder has effects on digestion of the individual as body is not able to digest food as efficiently as it does with gall bladder.
