if the complement of an angle is 28 degree then what is the supplement of the angle ?

Open in App
Solution

Let the measure of other complement angle=x

∴According to the question,

⇒x+ 28o= 90o [Sum of Complementary Angles = 90o]

⇒x= 90o- 28o

⇒x= 62o

Now,

Sum of Supplementary Angles =180o

⇒y+62o=180o

⇒y=180o-62o

⇒y=118o
