If the Congress during the Civil Disobedience movement was reluctant to include the worker's demand in their agenda because it might upset the rich industrailists then why there is today a strong political relation between Congress and workers?

The political parties are meant for the welfare of every section of the societies,if they come into power.But,on the other hand political parties have always certain vested interests where they use the people especially certain sections one like worker's for the vote bank's ,they sometimes fulfill their narrow demands though that doesn't satisfy them but false promises often acts as a trap.Now a days a good relationship exists between few percentage of worker's not all with the congress it is either due to party affiliation or due to the welfare which they expect from the party.
