If the particles of matter are in continuous motion,then why we can not say it as matter is continuous also?

Dear student!

The particles are the constituent units of matter and they move continuously inside the matter but they could not move if they leave the matter and so they are not capable of moving the matter itself and so matter is not said to be continuously moving.
