Question

if there is no friction we will not be able to inhale and exhale. explain

Open in App
Solution

we'll do be able to breathe even if there is no friction because what we do when breathe is we expand our lungs due to which the pressure in lungs decreases below the atmospheric pressure and because of this pressure difference air rushes from the surroundings into our lungs. how so ever the effort required to breathe will be reduced if the friction ceases to exist.
