Solution

Chemical fertilizers provide more nutrients to soil than manures. Fertilizer is a man made substance. It can be organic or inorganic in nature. It is very rich in plant nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, etc.

Manure is composed of large quantities of organic matter (humus). Ammonia, nitrate, organic substances, etc. are predominant organic matters found in manures. Manures are mostly composed of micronutrients such as zinc (Zn), manganese (Mn), copper (Cu), sodium (Na), etc.
