if we join 2 cube of side 1 cm each to make a cuboid then what is TSA of new cuboid

When 2 cubes each of side 1 cm are joined then a cuboid is formed.
Length, breadth and height of the cuboid will be 2 cm , 1 cm and 1 cm respectively.
TSA of cuboid = 2 [length $\times$ breadth + breadth ​$\times$ height + height ​$\times$ length]
= 2 [2​$\times$1 + 1​$\times$1 + ​1 ​$\times$ 2] = 2[2 + 1 + 2] = 10 cm²
