Solution

The count of cars carrying different number of persons can be represented by 1 ×5 matrix.Let it be denoted by A.Now, A = 963934226The number of persons sitting in the car can be represented by 5 × 1 matrix.Let it be denoted by B.Now, B = 12345Now, total number of person in all the cars is given by matrix multiplication of AB.AB = 963934226 12345 = 96×1+39×2+34×3+22×4+6×5 = 96+78+102+88+30 = 394So, total number of persons = 394

Total number of cars = 197average number of persons sitting in each car = 394197=2
