In a vast country like India, why is it good to have many political parties even when this leads to various political conflicts between them?

Even though there are ideological differences and conflicting interests among the parties, multi party system is considered to be good for a country like India because:
a. To represent its diverse interests.
b. To give voice to the marginalized groups in the society.
c. To give adequate representation to the diverse groups.
d. To offer choices to the people which is in the spirit of democracy.

Though multi party system has its flaws like it leads to political instability, it creates political conflict but then no system is perfect, every system has its pros and cons. To strive for a perfect ideal system is a utopia, the fact it is working well with the vast country like India due to its vast geographical spread and diversity, the system is considered to be good.
