In generators, how does the fuse works?

Open in App
Solution

Dear Student,

Fuse protects our appliances to burn and get damage due to overloading of current or voltage.

It has low melting point wire when a high current pass through the electricity lines it melts due to heating and prevents our appliances to get damage due to high current supply.

In the similar manner fuse is attached to generators to protect it to get burn.
