in physical properties substance dont change their identity. eg boiling point or melting point. but ova here the state has to be

changed to find meting point ??

Yes, it is necessary for any substance to change its state for observing the melting point, but it does not make any difference to the chemical property of the substance as the components of the substance remain same.And as state of substance is its physical property it will not make any difference to the chemical reactivity of substance.
